Aashiana-II to open soon: CM
LAHORE :Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that besides extension of the project of Aashiana Housing scheme at Saroba Attari, the foundation stone of Aashiana-II at Burki will be laid soon.
He was presiding over a meeting to review the progress on Aashiana Housing project. The meeting reviewed in detail Aashiyana Housing Schemes in Lahore and other districts of the province.
The chief minister said the Punjab government had launched the project of Aashiana Housing scheme for the benefit of the poor, widows, orphans and workers and due to the programme, the dream of shelterless people to have their own house had come true. He also issued instructions for accelerating the work on Aashiana schemes in the province.
