CDA will Expedite Beautification work of ZPI
Islamabad—The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will expedite beautification work of the multipurpose Zero Point Interchange (ZPI) Project and construction of pedestrian bridges.
A CDA official told media men on Saturday that the authority will add special features to the ZPI Project by landscaping isolated areas.
The landscaping plan has been finalized and the Environment Wing of Authority has already initiated the work on soft landscaping, he added. The project is also being incorporated with the latest technique of rainwater harvesting to benefit from the natural source of water/rain flowing through the project area. This will help enrich the groundwater table and enhance the aquifer in the area, he added.
The CDA will remove heaps of mud among the loops of ZPI to facilitate the process of soft landscaping and beautification, he said
